What a broker does, and what the insurer does
A broker and an insurer do different jobs when you take out a policy through us.
We do (the broker)
- Ask how you work and which agreements or platforms you work under.
- Find insurers that cover the work you do.
- Tell you what each option pays for and what it doesn't.
- Arrange the policy you choose with the insurer.
The insurer does
- Sets the policy wording, the document that says what is and isn't covered, and the premium, which is what you pay for the cover.
- Sends you the policy and a certificate of currency, which is proof your cover is active.
- Decides and pays claims under the policy.
How we work with you
Grace Insurance sets out how it works with clients in its terms of engagement, and these promises from them apply when you deal with us.
Quotes from more than one insurer
We work with more than 160 insurers and aim to bring you between 2 and 12 quotes.
A quick reply
Call or email us and we aim to get back to you within 24 hours.
A check before renewal
We get in touch with you at least 30 days before the renewal date.
On your side at claim time
If you need to claim, we act as your advocate with the insurer.

Questions about us
Get a quoteWho is behind NDIS Insurance Cover?
NDIS Insurance Cover is run by the team at Grace Insurance. Frans du Plessis set up Grace in Perth in 2015, and the business is Australian-owned. Both are trading names of GeePeeVee Pty Ltd, which arranges insurance under Australian Financial Services Licence 233750, held by Community Broker Network Pty Ltd.
Are you an insurer or a broker?
A broker. We compare what insurers offer, explain the policies and arrange the one you choose. The insurer is the company that issues your policy and pays any claims.
Do you arrange cover outside Western Australia?
Yes. Our head office is in Joondalup, WA, and we work with NDIS support workers and providers wherever they are in Australia.
